The
new S200
Servo Drive
features high resolution (24 bit) feedback and high performance 3-5 kHz current loop bandwidth
for smooth motion and rapid start and stop action. Smart feedback and industry leading high bandwidth also facilitate fast and accurate "plug and play" commissioning by eliminating the need for servo loop tuning in most applications.
Kollmorgen S200 series drives come standard with torque or velocity control and optionally support Indexing, CANopen or DeviceNet. They are available for AC (120/240 VAC) or DC (20-90V) operation with current ratings from 1 A rms continuous to 18 A rms peak. They have a compact footprint
and are UL 508C listed, CE marked, and conform to EN50178 and EN61800-3 standards.
Other features include separate "Keep Alive" power, optically isolated inputs/outputs, positive locking connectors.
The new
P7000 is the only microstepping drive available today to offer reliable Encoderless Stall Detection™, down to and including rest, without the use of a separate feedback device. Additionally, these drives use multi-step positioning to convert full step indexing commands into smooth microstepping resolution, making them the only microstepping drive available today with this functionality. This allows users, for the cost of a new drive, to significantly increase machine performance without having to redesign the machine control architecture.
Available for AC or DC operation, the P7000 is designed to power any 2-phase NEMA step motor.
A Motion Node option that supports ModBus RTU, CAN Open, or DeviceNet network protocols adds enhanced indexing capabilities at significant savings when compared to the cost of a standard indexer.
