Motion Control with a PLC

You can control motion from a PLC in many ways.  We have motion controllers that can communicate with ProfiBus and DeviceNet.  Control torque, speed and position from your PLC without writing any code in the motion controller.  This results in quicker setup times and easier field replacement should something go wrong.

Want to sense something clear?

Sick Inc. has a special line of clear sensor.  Clear material sensors require only a small amount of the light beam to be broken. The design of the device has a very stabilized and constant light output and a very stabilized receiving and switching threshold element. In addition to clear objects, this type of device can be used to detect small objects, including objects smaller than the effective light beam.
